Private 28705 George Augustus Carlton, 3rd Bn., Grenadier Guards died on Tuesday, 27th November 1917 during the Battle of Cambrai and has no known grave. His name is recorded on the Cambrai Memorial in the Louverval Military Cemetery, France.
