Acting Bombardier 27534 Arthur Robert Martin, 86th Heavy Bty., Royal Garrison Artillery died on Sunday, 31st December 1916 aged 27.He was the son of Mr and Mrs P Martin, of High Street.

He died in Mesopotamia and has no known grave but is commemorated on the Basra Memorial in Iraq.
