Country Park Re-Opened
has been re-opened after its recent closure. There is still ice on the lakes so the rangers would like to remind dog owners of the danger of dogs going out onto the ice (one drowned in the park a few years ago).
Country Park Closed
has been closed until further notice in the interest of safety. Only the area to the south of the park around the visitors’ centre and play area will remain open. The only access will be at the main entrance. This action has been taken as rangers have already experienced people walking on the ice.
