A14 Widening Project Suspended
The Government announced today the cancellation or suspension of a number of major projects agreed by the previous administration. It appears that on the list of projects being suspended is the £1.1 billion project to widen the A14, including the section past Milton.

The Secretary of State has decided to hold a Public Local Inquiry to consider objections to the draft Order for the A14 Widening Scheme. The letter to the parish council from the Highways Agency informing the council of this can be found on their web site .
