Parking at the bottom of the Jane Coston bridge
It’s been a long time coming but after much nagging by your parish council the county council are finally proposing to put in no waiting restrictions at the northern end of the bridge. Double yellow lines will run on both sides from the roundabout to east of World of Computers and the laundry.

The council meets on Monday night and the agenda is on the web site. It looks like it should be a fairly short meeting and there are no planning applications being considered.
Fireworks
Bonfire night is on a Monday this year so local firework displays are all over the place. The big one in the village, run by the Milton School Association on their playing field, takes place on Friday night. That’s all the details I have on that I’m afraid as MSA don’t send me their news. […]
