“Once again, we are faced with disappointing news for our patients. If you are responding to requests to book routine reviews for long term medical conditions, please continue to read. Due to the current national shortage of a particular brand of blood bottles, we are being asked to temporarily halt all routine blood tests until after 17th September 2021. Some letters and texts may have already gone out before we were told that we had to stop booking any routine bloods and we apologise.

We are now only booking clinically urgent bloods and there is a set criteria we are having to follow. This is completely out of our control and we can only apologise to you all.”
