Milton surgery has begun their Covid-19 vaccination programme and are in the process of contacting patients in the priority groups first, including the over 80s and social care workers.
Practice manager Sophie Ladds urged residents who have not been invited yet to be patient and not contact the surgery about the vaccine.
“When it is the right time for you to receive the vaccine we will contact you. This may be via text, phone call or letter. Please do not contact us if you haven’t received an invite yet. We are very busy at the moment and doing so could prevent a patient who needs our help from getting through,” she said.
