Milton Online needs your help!

When we at Milton Online say “we need your help” we mean we need your energy, your vision, your know-how and your enthusiasm.

The first task of Milton Online was to replace the village website and Milton News when its creator and long term editor Paul Oldham left Milton village. Now the technology is in place it’s time to do exciting things with our village media. Exactly what those things are or could be is as yet undecided. Milton News, Village Views, Milton Community Facebook group, they are all run by volunteers.

At 8pm on Thursday 11th October at the White Horse we will be holding an open meeting. This is your chance to join us, to tell us how you think things could be better, and to get involved in making it so. You could be a writer, a designer, a programmer, an artist, or just anyone who would like to be part of making Milton an even better place to be. You might have a fabulous idea for a project or you might be looking for somewhere to invest your time or to develop new skills. Whether you’re an old-fashioned wordsmith or an Instagram legend, this is your chance to make a difference.

So come along. We look forward to meeting you in person. And if you want to get involved and can’t make that night email us on editor@milton.org.uk.
