The Mother Side Meet Up is back at Grounds Café in Milton Country Park on Tuesday 7th November from 10.30am until 12.30pm. Come along for some support or just for a cuppa and some cake and a chat. It’s free to attend.
The speaker will be Elizabeth Cook. Elizabeth is a Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) facilitator who will be talking about how the idea that “1 in 4 women get from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from giving birth” is often repeated but never addressed. Questions asked will be: Is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder really that bad? Is it possible you have it and never noticed? Or should women accept that feeling less well after having children is how things should be? Come here about what Post Traumatic Stress Disorder really is, how you can tell if you have it and what you can do about it.
