Balfour Beatty are undertaking work on street lights in Milton starting on Monday, 28th March and continuing for a maximum of twenty days. You can see the plans here. Essentially they’re going to be doing work on both sides of the road from the A10/A14 roundabout down into Milton, over the mini-roundabout and north past the both entrances into The Rowans and finishing just before the zebra crossing near the shops.

Traffic management has been arranged to ensure work can be carried out as effectively and safely as possible between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 but it’s inevitably going to lead to delays getting through the village in the day time and it also looks like it’s going to disrupt pavements and the off road cycle path.

The start date may be subject to change which is why we’re posting this now rather than leaving it until next month.
