Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust have been monitoring the weather on and off through today and there is what looks like a stormy lump coming through tomorrow (Monday 7/2) – specifically from 11am onwards.

As things stand with the forecast it will likely breach their long standing written policy for closure due to the high winds and the danger of injury caused by falling branches from trees. They will be reviewing this again tomorrow morning and, unless things improve, they will put a park closure in place by 10am and, based on the current forecast, it will likely stay in place for the whole day.

When we hear for definite one way or another from CSLT we will update you all with the decision on closure but we thought it worth giving people a heads up tonight.
