In our article about the proposed new development in Fen Road we referred to Milton Hall woods and lake as being a “public open space”. We’re told by a resident of North Lodge Park that this isn’t entirely true.

That land, and indeed all the open space in the North Lodge Park development other than the football pitches, are owned by the freeholders of North Lodge Park and not by the Milton Parish Council and indeed they pay a service charge to a management company every month to maintain the land.

However, having said all of that, the land is open and the public do have access.
