Many of you will be aware of the petition on the Government web site to Block Donald J Trump from UK entry and which got an enormous 576,853 signatures. It was debated, not in the Commons but in a committee, this week. Our MP, Lucy Frazer spoke. You can read her contribution starting here (There’s also a slightly jarring note in the intervention by Tulip Siddiq, MP for Hampstead and Kilburn, who notes in passing that Lucy Frazer is her constituent rather than Frazer being her own!). (TL;DR she welcomed the petition … but didn’t support it.)
