South Cambridgeshire District Council is launching a three year funding deal offering over £400,000 of grant funding to make sure vital services are delivered in South Cambridgeshire villages. The funding package is aimed at helping voluntary sector and community organizations plan and programme as nationally the number of grants available has fallen.
The areas of work service support grant funding is available for are:
- Community transport
- Specialist welfare advice
- General welfare advice
- Independent living
- Fit to learn
- Support for parishes and communities
- Housing options advice and services preventing and relieving homelessness
The Council is looking for services to be delivered to the entire district but would welcome bids from organizations looking to cover part of the area as more than one group can be successful in each category.
