Cambridgeshire County Council has decided that from 1st April 2016:

• many street lights will be switched off between 12am and 6am on residential roads and footpaths which are not located on main traffic routes
• all street lights will be dimmed (including those located on main traffic routes)

Milton Parish Council were asked by the county if they wanted to provide the funds to fill the gap so that some or all of the lights in Milton would remain on but, having first surveyed the village’s views, at a meeting on Monday (28/9) they decided not to do so.
