Parents and carers looking for ways to entertain their youngsters still have a chance to book free tickets on a Dangerous Workshop for Boys and Girls.
The workshops, inspired by The Dangerous Book for Boys, are aimed at youngsters over four years old. There will be a chance to make paper planes, paper boats and weather permitting, waterbombs. They will be taking place on Friday, 28th August at Barnwell Road Library and Thursday, 27th August at Milton Road Library, both 11am-noon. Spaces are limited but can be booked directly with the library.
Cambridgeshire County Council‘s Community Librarian, Anne Worthington said:
The workshops really will be a lot of fun and there’s a chance to take part in a mass paper plane launch. Why not stay on afterwards and see what books are on offer to loan out from the children’s section. There’s also an opportunity at these events for Record Breakers participants to catch up with their stickers and swap their library books.
