Due to forecast high winds Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust have taken the decision to put the park closure policy in place and the Park is now closed. The Met Office are forecasting gusts in the early hours through to 10am Saturday morning that exceed the written high wind threshold in their park closure policy so they can’t ignore that.

The plan now is to review the situation at 7am on Saturday based on both the actual conditions and the forecast at that point. The park will then open if they feel it can but based on the current forecast, as at now, the decision would be to remain closed until about 10:30am.
