We heard last week via milton-chat that the village golf course had gone into administration.

Then last weekend the Osteria, Waggon and Horses closed its doors after the landlord and landlady moved on to pastures new. Here the news may be better however as the pub is owned by Elgoods so hopefully they will bring in new tenants or managers soon.
