A final reminder that the Tour de France comes to Cambridge on Monday (7/7). You can find a leaflet about it online here which will help you plan your day if you’re planning to go anywhere near Cambridge for any reason.

As we’ve mentioned here before one of the consequences is alteration to city bus routes. You can find all the details online here. The main impact for Milton is that:

• service 9 – will terminate on Milton Road near the City Ground
• Milton P&R – will terminate on Milton Road near the City Ground
• Babraham Road P&R – will terminate at CB1 (Cambridge Rail Station)
• Citi 2 – will not go into the city centre, it will divert via Coldham’s Lane and Newmarket Road

The most significant element of this, as we noted before, is that is that you won’t be able to use the P&R service to get to Addenbrooke’s and indeed as far as we can see the road closures around Cambridge will make it impossible to approach the hospital from the west.
