Your parish council meets on Monday night (3/3) at the Bowls Pavilion starting at 7pm (note early start). The full agenda (Adobe/PDF, 290KB) can be found on their web site.

The meeting is starting early so that council can listen to a presentation by pupils and staff from Milton Primary School: short-term and long-term ideas how to improve Milton for children.

The following planning applications are being considered relating to properties in Milton village:

• s/0242/14/fl – 9 The Sycamores – two-storey side extension.
• s/0205/14/fl – 43A Old School Lane – two storey side and single storey front and rear extensions.

Council will also be discussing the conflict between cyclists and pedestrians on the Ely Road cycle path, lack of edge lighting on the Milton to Impington, the plans by Cambridgeshire County Council to charge for parking at the Butt Lane P&R site, and various issues arising from a joint meeting with the charity which runs the community centre and recreation grounds.
