CamSAR Santa

After the success of last year’s outing Cambridge Search and Rescue are bringing Santa back to Milton this Friday and Saturday evenings (6th and 7th December). According to their map (see below (Apologies for the poor quality, as you can see they’d just printed out a Google Map and then written on it. We had to take a photo of one of the copies from Tesco’s noticeboard and then attempt to clean it up)) the plan is that they will visit everywhere south of Butt Lane and Old School Lane on Friday and everywhere north on Saturday.

They are ending the Friday night tour at The Waggon & Horses at about 7:30pm. David, the landlord said on milton-chat:

If anyone would like to pop in and see him there I am sure he will enjoy saying hello. We’re a child friendly pub so open to anyone who wants to pop in, and I’m sure the extra stop will help boost the charity collection. Please do pop in and say hello, and I’ve asked our other two Santa’s to come in disguise. Santa Fraser and Santa Rayner are more than happy to oblige

They say that they’ve taken on board the feedback they got from milton-chat last year (See thread “Father Christmas – the 5th Emergency service?” in {url:www.milton.org.uk/lists/milton-chat/y2012>the 2012 archive) and are coming a little earlier at 4pm so they can finish earlier at 7:30pm and we’ve also suggested they might try to cut back in the use of the siren.
