We mentioned here before the Connecting Cambridgeshire project which is rolling out “superfast” broadband across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. They have now published a target date for Milton, although it’s a bit broad
and the situation is also complicated by the presence of VirginMedia cable in much of Milton which may mean (to be honest it’s not very clear from the site what they mean) that we don’t get a full roll out of fibre broadband (i.e. superfast ADSL) in Milton.

Anyway you can find the page with details here and, as you will see, they say that:

Superfast broadband is forecast to be available in your area between September 2014 and June 2015 over more than one phase.

So don’t rush to terminate your VirginMedia contract just yet …
