Milton Netball Club has decided that they want to do something for their community. They have therefore decided to take part in the Arthur Rank Hospice accumulator challenge. The idea is Arthur Rank give £50 to invest and 12 weeks to raise as much money for the Hospice as possible. This money can be raised by any means possible, so long as it’s legal!
Arthur Rank Hospice provides palliative care services for over 18’s. The hospice was established in 1981 to meet the needs of people with cancer and other illnesses. It also provides support to the relatives, friends and professionals involved with their care. The care is provided by Cambridgeshire Community Services with funding from the NHS and the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. The aim is to enable patients and those close to them to live as fully as possible, and make the most of the time that remains.
They are therefore hoping you will support them and they are proposing to do a quiz night with a raffle on Saturday, 7th December. They were hoping you could provide us with a raffle prize to help raise these funds.
Teams are up to 6 people and it costs £2 per person to enter with a brilliant prize for the winners. It will be held at Milton Community Centre at 7:30pm; there will also be the raffle and a cake stall with an honesty box so bring some extra pennies!
