It appears the road outside All Saints’ church in Church Lane is becoming a turning point by drivers who are not taking due care and attention. You may remember that recently a vehicle reversed into the brick pier holding the iron gate causing considerable and expensive damage to the pier and wall.

It has now happened again. This time a vehicle has hit and damaged the large wooden post which holds up the gate and fence around the disabled area.

This is very upsetting as one member of the church spent a lot of time and effort restoring the fence, gate and post.

The church are now asking drivers not to use this area as a turning point as there is a perfectly adequate turning point on the left past the church.
