Your parish council meets on Monday night (15/7) at the Bowls Pavilion starting at 7pm (note early start time). The full agenda (Adobe/PDF, 447KB) can be found on their web site.
The meeting is starting early because Sgt Paul Rogerson is attending to give update on policing and priorities.
The following planning applications are being considered relating to properties in Milton village:
- s/1104/13/fl – 307 The Rowans, Milton – conversion of existing detached garage: amendment: reduced front elevation window, roof light to front roof slope (previous min PC7/06-13: parish council
recommended refusal of original application on grounds of visual impact: the shutters do not address the problem of visual impact as they could be open all day). - s/1356/13/fl – 2 Hall End, Milton – Two storey front extension & single storey rear extension.
- s/1447/13/fl – 3 Burling Walk, Milton – First floor extension over garage.
- s/1467/13/fl – 27 Willow Crescent, Milton – Single storey rear extension.
- C/05001/13/CC – Land at Chesterton Sidings, Cambridge – facilities, toilets, ticket office, retail space, amenity space, rail staff accommodation and facilities (an exhibition about this is coming to Milton later in the month, we will remind you about that nearer the time).
Other items being discussed include the need to fill three vacant posts on the council, litter and dog fouling in the village (the latter mainly being on Sycamores recreation ground), issues around the sorry state of the Farm College land facing Landbeach Road, and various issues at the cemetery.
See agenda for other items being discussed.
