Back in March you should have had a leaflet through the door about a programme to replace all the street lights in Milton which is aimed to reduce the electricity used by about 46%. You can find details on the Cambridgeshire streetlighting web site.

You may remember that the programme was put on hold last year while Balfour Beatty and Cambridgeshire County Council decided which columns are to be removed and not replaced. It’s not clear what their conclusions were but the programme is now back on track for Milton but with a delay. A few roads are being done in May (see scheduled to see if your road is listed). The rest are being between July and December.
