This Thursday (7/6) we’re getting BR Class 7MT No.70000 “Brittania” coming back past Milton. It’s the first of the Britannia Pacifics of which our old friend Britannia Pacific 70013 “Oliver Cromwell” is the other which survives in preservation.

It’s hauling the Cathedrals Express from Alresford to Ely and back. Looking at the timings it should pass Fen Road heading north at about 13:45 and should pass again heading south at about 18:20.

Advanced warning also that we’re due another train on Saturday, 23rd June when No. 34067 “Tangmere” will be hauling a train past us to the North Norfolk line. More on that nearer the time.
