Your parish council meets on Monday night (2/4) at the Bowls Pavilion starting at 7:30pm. The full agenda (Adobe/PDF, 196KB) can be found on their web site.
The following applications are being considered relating to properties in Milton village:
- s/0168/12/fl – 33 Froment Way change of use from annexe to
separate dwelling - s/0487/12/fl – 27 Cambridge Road – rear conservatory
- Jolly Brewers – to amend their hours for licensable activities including the sale of alcohol for consumption on or off the premises, live music, recorded music and provision of dance facilities as follows:
• 08:00 to midnight – Monday to Thursday, and Sunday
• 08:00 to 02:00 – Friday and Saturday
On the latter a proposal is to be put to the council that:
Council object to this application on grounds that the public
house is in the middle of a residential area and that there would be
considerable noise and disturbance to the residents. Recommendation that
the Jolly Brewers public house has conditions imposed similar to the other
public houses in Milton.

- to agree to plant an oak tree on Pond Green and organising a beacon on 4th June in Milton Country Park, both to commemorate the Queen’s Jubilee
- accepting a quotation for fitness equipment to be installed on The
Sycamores recreation ground - considering forming a joint group with Landbeach and Waterbeach parish councils in relation to the closure of Waterbeach Barracks
