The Duchess of Cambridge has announced that she has accepted the position of Royal Patron of EACH, the charity which runs a children hospice here in Milton. This is one of only four charities she’s taken under her wing, the others being Action on Addiction, the Art Room and the National Portrait Gallery. She’s also going to become a volunteer in the Scout Association, mostly working near her North Wales home.
Apparently she made a private visit to the hospice in Milton back in November and Cambridge News says she will make private and public visits across the UK to her new organisations during the coming months including EACH.
