With the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee approaching, the theme of the spring issue of
South Cambridgeshire District Council South Cambs Magazine will be “heritage”.
They would like to gather photographs and accompanying memories of Coronation celebrations from around the district to use in the magazine – including the front cover – and online. They’re asking people to send their photos and memories in.
Photos from the Silver and Golden Jubilees would be welcome, but Coronation pictures will be their main focus. If anyone has photos and memories from each of the Coronation, Silver and Golden jubilees, they would especially like to hear from them. Being able to chart village celebrations over the years would be fantastic.
People will need to be happy for SCDC to use and publish their photographs in South Cambs Magazine, online and in other material. They will store images electronically and may use them again in the future. Credit will be given and printed photographs will be returned.
If you can help you need to download and fill in this
photograph information and consent form. Photographs will need to reach SCDC by the middle of January to be included in the magazine.
Photos and memories can be emailed to communications@scambs.gov.uk or sent by post to Communications at South Cambridgeshire District Council, South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6EA.
