Gerda Covell has resigned from the parish council leaving a vacancy. If ten villagers say that they would like an election in the next fortnight or so South Cambridgeshire District Council will organise one (see here on the parish council site for details) otherwise the parish council will simply co-opt someone as a new councillor.
