Your parish council meets tonight (5/9) at the Bowls Pavilion starting at 7:30pm. The full agenda (Adobe/PDF, 274KB) can be found on their web site.
The following applications are being considered relating to properties in Milton village:
- s/1715/11 – 14 Fen Road and land off Coles Road – erection of detached dwelling together with the provision of a dropped kerb and 2 car parking spaces to the front of the existing dwelling (essentially a new dwelling in the garden of 14 Fen Road but with access from Coles Road)
The agenda also notes that application s/0984/11 for another new dwelling next to Lea Court on Coles Road has been approved by South Cambridgeshire District Council (SCDC) councillors by the narrowest of margins.
Other items on the agenda include a request to reconsider Urban Renaissance Villages application for general housing in light of a meeting the parish council has had with their representative and their request to withdraw the council’s objection at SCDC (see agenda supporting papers page 10 for more on this).
There’s also a report of a meeting with Tesco, the proposed 50mph speed limit on the A10, and about the future of Waterbeach barracks, all of which are worth reading.
