Food, Farming and Countryside Event

This Sunday (11/9) from 11am to 4pm Milton Country Park is holding their annual Food, Farming and Countryside Event featuring the Milton Produce Show in the Visitor Centre and the Milton Country Park Dog Show, plus a range of stalls and exhibits on the theme of “Think global, buy local”.

There will be retail stalls selling locally made produce and merchandise including rare breed organic meats and home made fudge. Information stalls will include the Wildlife Trust and the RSPB. The Milton Country Park Junior Rangers Club will be holding an open access ‘drop in session’ in the Wild Place. Pecks of Ely will be on hand to provide advice on groud care (with some shiny products). There will be a range of accessories and food stuffs for dogs and other pets based around the Dog Show. Finally and perhaps most intriguingly there will be a debut of Ferret Racing!

This event is free if you’re coming on foot or by bike and if you’re coming by car then, unlike previous years, the normal car parking price of £2 per car will apply.
