The Highways Agency are undertaking embankment repair works on the A14 between here and Histon for eight weeks starting this Monday (4/7) with narrowed lanes and a 50mph speed limit. The A14 will also be shut westbound next Friday night (8/7) as far as Histon so if you want to head west you will need to go to Histon via Butt Lane and join the A14 there.
