Tomorrow (Sunday 12/12) the A4 60007 “Sir Nigel Gresley” will be coming through Milton hauling “The Christmas Fenman” service from Kings Lynn to London. You can find more details here (that page has the wrong day but the right date) and as you’ll see it will pass Fen Road level crossing at about 10:50am.

(Sir Nigel Gresley is also passing through today on its way to York and back from Cambridge but it passed Milton at about 7:15am this morning and it returns after dark at about 9:45pm so it’s less likely to be of interest.)

This isn’t the last train service coming through Milton before Christmas: it looks like we may be due visits next Wednesday (15/12) from LMS Black Five 44932, on Saturday (18/12) from Sir Nigel Gresley and sister A4 60019 Bittern, and on Tuesday (21/12) from LMS Black Five 45305 but we’ll update you on these when timetables are published and the routes are confirmed.
