The A14 is closed again on Thursday night (25-26/11) from 9pm to 6am between junction 36 (Nine Mile Hill) and junction 31 (Girton) while they patch the highway, this time it’s westbound. A signed diversion route will be in place which takes you down to Duxford on the A11 and then back up the M11.

For local traffic the good news is that the A14 will be open for local traffic between junction 35 (Stow cum Quy) and junction 33 (Milton) so it won’t affect you if you are heading west on that section although it will mean is you want to get to Histon/Impington at junction 32 you will need to use Butt Lane. And of course if you’re coming from further east you’re going to have the hassle of coming off the A11 and making your way across Cambridge.
