Your parish council meets on Monday (1/11). The full agenda is available online (Adobe/PDF, 169KB). It will begin with an update on youth services by Paula Mayes, Youth Work Co-ordinator – Cambridge City North and Lorna Purslow, Assistant Locality Manager.
The council will be considering two planning applications in the village:
- s/1394/10 – 46 High Street – replacement of the existing flat roof on the single storey extension to the front of the property with a pitched roof
- s/1593/10 – 73 Coles Road – single storey front extension
Other issues being discussed include tree works around the village, how to spend a £550 donation to Milton Parish Council given “for the benefit of those affected by the economic downturn”, and continuing work on a new recreation ground.
There is also a very detailed report from your district councillors which covers a whole variety of issues relating to Milton including the foot/cycleway to Impington (which is going ahead, but not it seems to a very high standard), discussions with Tesco, and planning issues relating to the land filling which is going on at the golf course.
