There will be a meeting of your parish council’s maintenance committee on Monday (27/9) at 7:30pm in the Bowls Pavilion on Coles Road. The full agenda is available online here (Adobe/PDF, 64KB). A wide variety of issues are being discussed including the cemetery, various issues at the allotments, new play equipment for the village (include a request for a BMX track), highways issues including speeding, the programme of tree works around the village, and what the parish council will do this Christmas (the lights on the tree opposite the Waggon and Horses are put up by the council).

The grass cutting and (horticultural) maintenance contract for next year is also to be agreed and the committee will be considering whether to make any amendments so if there are any issues local to where you live you should make a councillor or the clerk’s office aware.
