Rob Chapman has resigned as chairman and as a parish councillor.

September’s parish council meeting elected Richard Summerfield as the new chairman.

The council now has to find a replacement for Rob as a parish councillor. Their first step is to issue a “Public Notice of Casual Vacancy” which they have now done (follow the link for details).

Unless ten villagers ask for a by-election by the end of the month the parish council will probably choose to co-opt a villager at their October meeting.
