Your parish council meet tonight (Monday 12/07). The full agenda is available online (Adobe/PDF, 199KB). Among other things it be considering two planning applications just outside the village, both relating to the old Enterprise Nurseries on the A10:

• s/0984/10 – replacement of greenhouses with three polytunnels and excavation and change of use of land to form fish stock pond
• s/0985/10 – change of use to agricultural machinery engineering unit, replacement building for B1(c) use and formation of one bedroom tourist accommodation unit.

Discussions continue on finding new recreation ground with a proposal to proceed with negotiations with the College of West Anglia.

The agenda includes a report of a meeting held to discuss some of the outstanding issues at the Park and Ride site, especially relating to the problems arising from drivers not being able to turn right out of Butt Lane onto the A10.

There is also a very detailed report from your district councillors which covers a whole variety of issues relating to Milton including the My Big Fat Gypsy Festival, energy monitoring, polling stations, Rights of Way and the A14 widening.
