This Saturday (12/12) the A4 60007 “Sir Nigel Gresley” will be coming through Milton twice hauling “The Christmas White Rose” service from Cambridge to York and back. You can find more details here and as you’ll see you need to get up early to catch it heading north as it will pass Milton at about 7:10am! The return service should pass through at 9:30pm.

On Sunday (13/12) 60007 is back again but at a more civilised time, hauling “The Christmas Fenman”. The full timetable online here. It’s due to pass Milton heading south at about 10:50am (and the service returns, but diesel hauled, at about 7:45pm).

And if that’s not enough steam for you we’re expecting 60019 “Bittern”, another A4 Pacific, around lunchtime next Saturday (19/12). More on that once we’ve got a full timetime.
