Repairs to the eastbound carriageway of the A14 between Girton (junction 31) and Milton (33) are scheduled from this Monday evening (7/12) to the morning of a week on Thursday (17/12).

These works are a continuation of the works carried out recently to replace sections of the worn out road surface, road markings and bridge joints at Impington Bridge.

The working hours will be between

• 8pm and 6am – Monday to Wednesday nights
• 8pm and 7am – Thursday nights
• 9pm and 6am – Friday nights

During the works it will be necessary to implement an overnight closures of the eastbound carriageway between junctions 31 and 33. A signed diversion route via the M11, A505 and A11 will be in place for traffic wishing to continue travelling eastbound on the A14 but for villagers your best option will be to exit at Dry Drayton (junction 30) and make your way home via Histon and Butt Lane.
