It appears that the Landbeach web site had the story of the large wind turbine we reported yesterday somewhat garbled. According to our county councillor, Michael Williamson, Landbeach Parochial Church Council sold the land some time ago with a covenant that it should only be used for agricultural purposes. They have now been approached by the purchaser who has asked them to lift the covenant to permit other development, specifically a wind turbine. No permission has been granted and, of course, any such development would require planning permission.
