Cambridgeshire.net, the community website has been relaunched with a bright new look, new features and even more information.

The site currently has 4,500 contributors from all walks of life which has created an incredibly diverse database which covers almost every aspect of life in Cambridgeshire.

For instance, did you know that Cambridgeshire has:

• Clubs for korfball, archery, fencing, scuba diving, snowsports, scrabble and model railways?
• A mobile planetarium (which is based in Milton) for hire?
• Local talking newspapers for the partially sighted?
• Over a dozen respite service providers?
• A toy library for children with special needs?
• A mobile village benefits advice service?

Listing an organisation, event or activity is free and can be done simply by registering on the site. Cambridgeshire.net is a joint venture created by Cambridgeshire County Council and the district councils.
