ecops.milton list to Milton News as I think it’s better that people who are interested join that mailing list but I think this posting from them is important enough to need wide circulation:

Dear All

An incident took place on Thursday 7/5/09 at approximately 19:00 in the
area of James Carlton Close, Milton whereby a dog was attacked.

The offending dog, believed to be an Akita or another white wolf-like dog,
was being walked off the lead and it attacked another dog, leaving it with
some nasty injuries. The owner of the offending dog did not stop or pass
details to the other owner. Thankfully the dog is now recovering after
veterinary treatment.

If anyone saw this incident, or has any information then please contact
police on 0845 456 456 4.

The owners of the injured dog were shaken by what happened and we would
like to take steps to make sure that a similar incident does not happen
again.
