The village litter pick on Saturday 21st February collected thirty black sacks of rubbish plus a whole green container of squashed tins and another of glass bottles. Also two big Calor gas cylinders, loads of road signs and police cones, a bike frame, and a plastic chair with three legs.

And that was just from the approaches to the village on the Tesco slip road, and Ely Road, and the path at the end of Butt Lane. There is still a lot of litter in the middle of the village and the environmental group are talking about organising another litter pick soon.
