This Sunday (15/2), the Friends of Milton Country Park, have an annual event for children to make bird nesting boxes. The children are guided through making a wooden bird box, with a basic hinged roof. They can then take the box away to put up in their own garden.

No need to pre-book, just come to the upstairs of the Visitor’s Centre, in the morning between 10:00am and 4:00pm. £5 for each box made.
