The next meeting of the group is being held this Wednesday (3/12), at the Bowls Pavilion, Coles Road (on the right hand side of the car park, opposite the Doctor’s). All are welcome – just turn up.

The meeting will have a speaker on solar energy, who will give a short presentation and answer any questions, and the group will also discuss projects to save or generate energy in Milton:

• insulating people’s lofts and cavity walls
• solar and photo-voltaic panels
• the suggestion of a small-scale hydro-electric scheme at Baits Bite Lock
• … any further thoughts and suggestions?

The group would like the village of Milton to choose a project which will enable us, as a community, to reduce our carbon footprint and to make a bid for CutyourCarbon funding.
