South Cambridgeshire Tenth Best Place to Live

South Cambridgeshire has been named as the tenth best place in Great Britain to live in the third annual Halifax Quality of Life Survey, improving one place from 11th last year.

Considering factors such as house prices, labour market, housing market, environment, education and health, the survey ranks local authority areas according to their perceived quality of life.

Some twenty-eight of the top 30 places went to areas in the South East or East of England and the top ten local authorities were: Elmbridge, Mid Suffolk, Horsham, Wokingham, Hart, Surrey Heath, Rochford, Uttlesford, Three Rivers, and South Cambridgeshire.

South Cambridgeshire regularly rates highly in national rankings of this type, last year featuring as the seventh best place to live in Channel 4’s Location, Location, Location ‘Best and Worst Place to Live’ survey.
