I occasionally mention here the ecops.milton list. E-cops is a service run by the local police that lets them keep in touch with the community. They’ve just got a new sergeant and he really seems to have grasped the potential of their mailing list judging by the latest mailing, which details what his team got up to Friday night. Part of the entry reads:
I spent time on Milton Rec tonight on foot. I spoke with a number of youths who were pleased that we were around to look out for them. Topics of conversation were varied… I found it interesting that their comments about the walk way by Tesco mirrors that of the Parish council and local residents.
